Senior Dev Ops Engineer

Position Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Dev Ops Engineer with strong expertise in AWS, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code to design, automate, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating Kubernetes workloads in production, building CI/CD pipelines, and implementing monitoring and security best practices. This role requires deep technical expertise, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work in fast-paced, distributed environments.
You will play a key role in ensuring platform reliability, automation maturity, and production stability across cloud-native microservices systems.

What You’ll Do
Design and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (AWS CDK, Cloud Formation, Terraform).
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Git Hub Actions and Jenkins to enable automated and reliable deployments.
Deploy, manage, and scale Kubernetes clusters in production, including:
1.Cluster architecture and setup
2.Deployments, services, ingress controllers
3.Horizontal Pod Autoscaling (HPA)
4.Config Maps and Secrets management
5.Troubleshooting production workloads
Implement containerization strategies using Docker and manage microservices-based architectures.
Set up and maintain monitoring and observability solutions using Open Telemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, and Kubernetes-native monitoring tools.
Design and manage API traffic handling using REST, gRPC, Protocol Buffers, API Gateway, and load-balancing strategies.
Ensure infrastructure and application security best practices including OWASP compliance, static code analysis, and container security.
Troubleshoot performance issues, outages, and scaling challenges in production environments.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, data, and security teams.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in Dev Ops / Cloud Engineering roles.
Extensive hands-on experience with AWS services in production environments.
Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (AWS CDK, Cloud Formation, Terraform).
Deep expertise in Kubernetes administration and production operations.
Strong experience with Docker and cloud-native microservices architecture.
Hands-on experience building CI/CD pipelines using Git Hub Actions and/or Jenkins.
Proficiency in at least one scripting/programming language:
Python, Go, or Shell scripting.

Experience with RDBMS and No

SQL databases (e.g., Postgres, Mongo

DB).
Strong Linux fundamentals and system-level troubleshooting skills.
Understanding of infrastructure and application security best practices.

Nice to Have

Experience with AWS data services such as DMS, Glue, Athena, or Redshift.
Experience working in start-up or high-growth environments.
Experience collaborating with distributed / remote teams.
Exposure to advanced observability, performance tuning, or cost optimization strategies.
