Job Summary

Looking for a skilled SAP PP Consultant with hands-on experience in Variant Configuration to support end-to-end production planning and execution processes for configurable products in SAP ECC/S/4

HANA environments.

Key Responsibilities

SAP PP (Core):

- Requirement gathering, process design, and solution blueprinting
- Configuration of Material Master (MRP views), BOM, Routing
- Work Centers, Production Versions
- MRP / MRP Live, Scheduling, Capacity Planning
- Production order lifecycle management (creation, release, confirmation, GR, variances)
- SIT/UAT support, defect resolution, cutover, and hypercare

Variant Configuration (VC):

- Characteristics, Class 300, Dependencies (Preconditions, Procedures, Constraints)
- Configuration Profiles and Object Dependencies
- Super BOM / Super Routing with selection conditions
- Integration with make-to-order scenarios
- Troubleshooting BOM explosion, routing selection, pricing/ATP issues

Integration:

- Strong integration knowledge with SD (LO-VC) – Mandatory
- Good understanding of MM and CO
- QM / PM knowledge is an added advantage

Required Skills

- 8+ years of SAP PP experience
- Minimum 1–2 full lifecycle implementations
- Strong hands-on Variant Configuration experience
- Experience in manufacturing/engineering industries preferred
- S/4

HANA experience is a plus
