Role Summary

Working as a member of a Cloud Architecture team providing managed services to the financial sector. The managed services include hosted mission critical systems for both top financial institutions. The role would primarily involve designing, managing, maintaining, and supporting the cloud infrastructure where the company’s Payment related products and solutions are running. To ensure that the solutions/products and their associated infrastructure are delivered and maintained for the necessary degree of availability and reliability.

What You’ll Do

- Cloud Infrastructure Management:
Design, provision, and maintain core cloud services (VMs, storage, network, databases) using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Dev Ops & Automation:
Set up, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines; manage templates, VPN connections, and disaster recovery procedures for high availability and resiliency.
- Performance & Security:
Diagnose and resolve cloud solution issues, review service frameworks, implement security policies, and support audit and compliance requirements.
- Collaboration & Support:
Work with customers to understand requirements, deliver scheduled/unscheduled support, assist in payment service implementation, and maintain knowledge bases and documentation.
- Continuous Improvement:
Enhance technical skills, stay updated on cloud technologies, and contribute to improving existing and new service offerings in the financial and payments sector.

What You Bring

- Cloud & Infrastructure Expertise: 10+ years in IT support and operations, 5+ years hands-on experience with public cloud platforms (Azure/AWS), including design, development, networking, integration, and security policies.
- Automation & Dev Ops:
Strong experience in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred), CI/CD pipeline management, Azure Dev Ops, and configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
- Networking & Security:
Advanced knowledge of networking (Firewalls, VPN gateways, Azure VNet, NSGs), VPN setup (S2S & P2S), OS security best practices, and enterprise-level infrastructure deployments.
- Systems & Integration:
Expertise in Windows/Linux OS, Active Directory (engineering, migration), DNS/DHCP, virtualization, storage, access control, and system integration (SFTP, MQ, Web Services).
- Certifications &

Soft Skills:

Cloud Architect or relevant Azure/AWS certification mandatory; strong communication, troubleshooting, project management, and customer engagement skills from requirement gathering to delivery.
