We are looking for energetic, high-performing, and highly skilled Data Engineers to join our fast-paced, entrepreneurial Prospect Data Hub (PDH) team. As part of the Enterprise Personalization Portfolio, you will help shape our technology roadmap and deliver next-generation global marketing capabilities.
In this role, you will focus on designing, developing, and deploying systems for customer-facing and business applications. You’ll be responsible for migrating workloads to the cloud and maintaining large-scale data pipelines.
Mandatory
Skills & Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following:
- Experience:
6–9 years of software development experience with hands-on expertise in application design and automated testing.
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- GCP & Big Data Stack:
Proficient in Big Query for batch/interactive analysis and PySpark/Data Proc for data processing.
- Core Engineering:
Strong programming knowledge in SQL, Python, and hands-on experience with Spark and Hive.
- Systems Knowledge:
Experience with UNIX/Shell/Perl scripting and a deep understanding of database query optimization and indexing.
- Agile
Collaboration:
Proven ability to function within an Agile team, contributing to software builds and driving continuous improvement in code quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain large-scale data processing pipelines.
- Migrate existing Hadoop/Spark/Hive workloads to Google Cloud.
- Enable deployment, support, and monitoring of software across all environments.
- Refactor code and drive continuous improvement in structure and quality.
Bonus Points For:
- Experience with Web services (REST/SOAP) and Java.
- Knowledge of Machine Learning or data mining.
- Familiarity with Object-oriented design and Adobe Marketing Campaign products.
