Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion (Finance) Consultant (Contract) to drive and guide the rollout of the customer’s in-house cloud-based logistics applications (web and mobile) in alignment with a parallel Oracle Fusion Finance implementation being executed by a third-party vendor. The role requires strong functional knowledge of fusion (finance), program coordination, technical understanding, and stakeholder management to ensure both initiatives progress on synchronized timelines.
Experience & Qualifications
- 8-10 years of overall experience in the IT industry
- Strong functional understanding of Oracle Fusion Finance modules
- Minimum 5 years of experience as functional consultant in Oracle Fusion Finance, and should have worked on implementation engagements and /or support & maintenance engagements as functional owner
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline (preferred)
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and drive rollout of changes to in-house logistics applications (cloud-based web and mobile apps) and ensure alignment and synchronized execution with the Oracle Fusion Finance rollout led by a third-party implementation partner
- Develop and manage integrated project plans, timelines, milestones, and dependencies across multiple teams
- Coordinate closely with Customer IT and business stakeholders, Third-party Oracle Fusion implementation partner and Internal application development and support teams
- Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and conflicts across parallel initiatives and drive timely resolution
- Manage change requests, evolving requirements, and fast-paced delivery expectations
- Track progress, report status, and escalate issues to senior stakeholders as required
- Ensure adherence to timelines, scope, and quality expectations
Technical & Functional Skills
- Good knowledge of:
- Oracle Fusion Finance
- APIs and system integrations
- SQL and data-level troubleshooting
- Cloud-based enterprise applications
- Web and mobile application architectures
- Ability to understand technical dependencies and translate them into executable project plans
