Job Description

The Senior Data Engineer will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and modern data platforms across cloud and on-prem environments. The role will focus on ensuring data reliability, performance, and integration across multiple business domains while supporting analytics and modernization initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and maintain e nd-to-end data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows  using modern data engineering tools and frameworks.
2. Implement data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration processes across structured and unstructured data sources.
3. Optimize  cloud-based data environments (e.g., GCP, AWS, or Azure)  for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
4. Collaborate with architects, analysts to ensure consistent data delivery
5. Ensure data quality, lineage, and governance through best practices and automation.
6. Support CI/CD integration within data engineering pipelines.
7. Troubleshoot production issues and implement preventive monitoring solutions.
Required Skillsets:
1. 6–10 years of hands-on experience in Data Engineering.
2. Strong programming skills in  Python, SQL, and one or more ETL tools (e.g., Dataflow, Spark, Glue, or ADF).

Experience with Cloud Data Platforms such as  GCP (Big Query, Dataflow, Composer), AWS (Redshift, Glue, EMR), or Azure (Synapse, Data Factory).
4. Proficient in data modeling, pipeline orchestration, and distributed processing frameworks (e.g., Apache Spark, Airflow).
5. Solid understanding of Dev Ops practices and version control systems (Git, Jenkins).

Experience with data lake, data warehouse, and streaming solutions (Kafka, Pub/Sub).
