System Administrator

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced  System Administrator  with 8–10 years of expertise in managing and optimizing Microsoft SQL Server environments. The role involves ensuring high availability, performance, security, and reliability of database systems while supporting development, operations, and business teams. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in database administration, monitoring, performance tuning, and backup and disaster recovery management.

Responsibilities

Administer and manage Azure infrastructure, including VMs, VNets, storage, identity, and security services.
Design, deploy, configure, and support Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments.
Monitor AVD performance, availability, and user experience; proactively troubleshoot and resolve issues.
Manage AVD host pools, session hosts, application groups, and work spaces.
Implement and maintain FSLogix profiles, user access, and profile optimization.
Configure and manage Azure Active Directory (Entra ), RBAC, Conditional Access, and MFA.
Ensure security, compliance, and patch management across Azure and AVD environments.
Automate routine tasks using Power Shell, Azure CLI, or ARM/Bicep/Terraform.
Support DR, backup, and business continuity strategies for Azure workloads and AVD.
Collaborate with security, network, and application teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
Provide operational documentation, runbooks, and knowledge base updates.

Experience with Intune / Endpoint Manager.
Expert in managing Citrix / RDS environments.
Participate in on-call support and incident management as required.
