Technical Project Manager

We are seeking a Technical Project Manager (TPM) with strong expertise in AI, Machine Learning, Generative AI, and LLM-based systems to lead end-to-end delivery of complex AI initiatives. The TPM will act as the bridge between business stakeholders, data scientists, AI engineers, and platform teams, ensuring AI solutions are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business goals.

This role requires a blend of project management excellence, technical depth in AI systems, and stakeholder leadership.

Key Responsibilities
Project & Delivery Management

· Own end-to-end delivery of AI/ML and Generative AI projects from ideation to production deployment

· Define project scope, milestones, timelines, dependencies, and success metrics

· Manage Agile ceremonies (Sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, reviews) for AI teams

· Track risks related to data availability, model performance, scalability, ethics, and compliance

Technical Leadership & Collaboration

· Work closely with Data Scientists, ML Engineers, NLP/LLM Engineers, and MLOps teams

· Translate business requirements into technical deliverables, model objectives, and system designs

· Review and understand AI architectures including:
o LLM-based applications
o Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines
o Agentic AI / multi-agent systems
o NLP, computer vision, and document intelligence solutions
Stakeholder Management

· Act as primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders

· Communicate project status, technical trade-offs, risks, and outcomes clearly to non-technical audiences

· Align AI initiatives with business strategy, regulatory constraints, and user needs
Governance, Quality & Compliance

· Ensure AI solutions follow responsible AI, data privacy, and security standards

· Drive documentation for:
o Model assumptions
o Data lineage
o APIs and integrations

· Coordinate validation, UAT, and production rollout of AI systems
Process & Continuous Improvement

· Establish best practices for AI project planning, estimation, and execution

· Improve cross-team collaboration between engineering, product, and business units

· Support roadmap planning for AI platforms and reusable components

Required

Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills
Strong understanding of:
o Machine Learning & Deep Learning fundamentals
o NLP, LLMs, and Generative AI systems
o RAG pipelines, embeddings, vector databases
o APIs, microservices, and AI system integrations

· Familiarity with tools & frameworks such as:
o Python-based ML ecosystems
o Hugging Face, Lang Chain, or similar LLM frameworks
o Docker, Git, CI/CD basics

Project Management Skills

· Proven experience managing AI/ML or data science projects

· Strong Agile/Scrum execution skills

· Ability to manage ambiguity and evolving AI requirements

· Excellent planning, prioritization, and risk management abilities

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience delivering enterprise AI or GenAI products

· Exposure to regulated industries (Healthcare, Pharma, Finance, etc.)

· Understanding of MLOps, model monitoring, and production AI lifecycle

· Certifications in Agile, PMP, or AI-related domains (preferred, not mandatory)
