Peoplesoft Admin

Key Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and upgrade  People Soft application  and  People Tools  components (Web Server, App Server, Process Scheduler, Integration Broker).
Administer and maintain multiple People Soft environments (DEV, TEST, PROD).
Apply patches, bundles, tax updates, and change assistant packages.
Monitor system performance and availability, and troubleshoot environment-related issues.
Work closely with DBAs to manage  People Soft databases  (Oracle, SQL Server).
Coordinate deployments, refreshes, and cloning of People Soft environments.
Manage  security configurations , including user profiles, roles, and permission lists.
Support integration with third-party systems via  Integration Broker ,  Web Services , and  API .
Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, procedures, and change logs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
3–6+ years of experience as a  People Soft Administrator .
Strong expertise in  People Soft 9.x  and  People Tools 8.5x .

Experience with  Web Logic ,  Tuxedo ,  Oracle Database , and  People Soft Update Manager (PUM) .
Proficiency with  Linux/Unix , shell scripting, and basic Windows server knowledge.
Familiarity with  Load Balancers ,  SSL configurations , and  networking concepts .
Knowledge of  Change Assistant ,  Data Mover , and  Configuration Manager .

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with  People Soft HCM ,  FSCM , or  Campus Solutions .
Exposure to  cloud-hosted environments  (OCI, AWS, Azure) for People Soft.

Experience with  automation tools  for monitoring and deployment.
ITIL or other service management certifications.
