About the Role
We are looking for a ROS Developer (Robot Operating System) – Freelancer to support advanced AI evaluation initiatives focused on robotics software, autonomous systems, and intelligent automation technologies.
In this role, you will work with AI-generated outputs related to ROS-based robotics applications, motion planning, navigation systems, sensor integration, simulation, and robotics communication frameworks, helping improve how AI models understand and solve real-world robotics software challenges.
You will collaborate with global AI and engineering teams to assess the technical accuracy, scalability, and operational reliability of AI-generated robotics solutions. Your contributions will directly enhance AI systems used for robotics automation, intelligent machines, and autonomous technologies.
Responsibilities
Create deliverables addressing common requests within your professional domain, including ROS workflows, robotics architectures, and automation strategies
Annotate and evaluate AI-generated responses related to ROS development and robotics software systems
Review peer-developed deliverables to enhance AI research quality and consistency
Diagnose and solve real-world robotics software and automation challenges to improve AI reasoning capabilities
Assess AI outputs for correctness, scalability, hardware-software integration, and system reliability
Identify bugs, incorrect assumptions, inefficient implementations, or communication issues in AI-generated robotics solutions and provide structured feedback
Contribute domain expertise to improve AI models focused on robotics software, ROS ecosystems, and autonomous systems
Requirements
Background in Robotics, Computer Science, Mechatronics, Electronics, or a related field
Strong understanding of ROS (ROS1/ROS2), robotics software systems, and autonomous technologies
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or C++
Familiarity with robotics simulation tools such as Gazebo, RViz, Webots, or Isaac Sim is preferred
Experience with SLAM, navigation stacks, motion planning, sensor fusion, or computer vision concepts is a plus
Ability to critically evaluate robotics architectures, ROS workflows, and engineering solutions
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment
