Role Overview
We are looking for a strategic, creative, and execution-focused Social Media Manager who will own Vish Gyana's social media presence end-to-end . This role goes beyond posting content — you will build strategy, drive brand voice, and lead a growing social media team .
You will work closely with leadership, marketing, HR, and design teams to strengthen brand visibility, employer branding, thought leadership, and business growth across platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Execution
Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies aligned with business, branding, and employer branding goals
Manage platforms including Linked In, Instagram, Twitter, You Tube (as applicable)
Plan and maintain monthly and weekly content calendars
Drive content for brand awareness, hiring campaigns, culture initiatives, leadership branding, and service promotion
Content & Creative Direction
Oversee creation of high-quality content: posts, carousels, reels, videos, campaigns, and announcements
Write compelling captions, copy, and storytelling content tailored for IT, B2B, and tech audiences
Collaborate with designers, video editors, and content writers to ensure brand consistency
Stay updated on social media trends, formats, and platform algorithm changes
Team Leadership & Building
Build, lead, and mentor a social media team (executives, interns, freelancers as required)
Allocate work, review content quality, and guide team performance
Set clear workflows, content standards, and performance expectations
Train junior team members on brand tone, tools, and best practices
Analytics & Optimization
Track and analyze performance metrics: reach, engagement, impressions, follower growth, and conversions
Prepare weekly/monthly performance reports with insights and recommendations
Optimize strategies based on data, trends, and audience behavior
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
Work closely with leadership, HR, marketing, and business teams
Support employer branding, internal communications, and company events
Manage external agencies or partners if required
Required
Skills & Qualifications
3–6 years of hands-on experience in Social Media Management (IT / SaaS / Tech preferred)
Strong expertise in Linked In strategy and B2B social media
Excellent written communication and storytelling skills
Experience with social media tools and analytics platforms
Ability to handle multiple priorities and campaigns independently
Strong leadership mindset with experience guiding or mentoring team members
Good to Have (Bonus Skills)
Experience in IT services, SaaS, or startup environments
Knowledge of video content strategy (short-form & long-form)
Exposure to employer branding and recruitment marketing
Experience running or supporting paid social campaigns
