D365 Functional Consultant

Role Description  This is a full-time, on-site D365 Functional Consultant role based in Chennai. The D365 Functional Consultant will work closely with stakeholders to understand business processes, gather requirements, and translate them into effective Microsoft Dynamics 365 Operations solutions. Daily responsibilities include conducting workshops, documenting functional specifications, configuring and testing D365 modules, and coordinating with technical teams for customizations and integrations.

The role involves supporting users during deployment, training end users, and troubleshooting functional issues to ensure stable system operations. The consultant will also participate in process improvement initiatives, provide insights on best practices, and contribute to project planning, timelines, and status reporting.
Qualifications
Strong analytical skills to interpret business needs, perform gap analysis, and design efficient D365-based solutions.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across global teams and present complex concepts clearly.
Solid understanding of business processes particularly in Warehousing and Logistics (and Finance, Supply chain, Operations) and ability to map them to D365 functionalities.
Consulting mindset with experience in requirements gathering, solution design, documentation, and user training.

Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O (or AX) implementations, including configuration, testing, and go-live support.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a related field.
Relevant Microsoft certifications in Dynamics 365 are an advantage.
Ability to work on-site in Chennai, adapt to multicultural environments, and manage multiple priorities in a project-driven setup.
