We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented legal professional to join our Corporate Legal team as an Assistant Manager. The role will involve supporting contract management and legal documentation activities across business functions while ensuring compliance with organizational and legal requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review, draft, negotiate, and manage various commercial agreements including: NDAs MSAs SOWs RFP/RFI related documents Vendor and customer contracts Service agreements and other legal/commercial documents
• Support end-to-end contract lifecycle management from initial review to contract execution/signature.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders for contract discussions, clarifications, and approvals.
• Identify contractual risks and support in suggesting risk mitigation measures.
• Ensure legal and contractual compliance for ongoing business engagements.
• Maintain legal documentation, contract trackers, and repositories.
• Provide legal support for business and operational requirements as needed.
• Work closely with business, procurement, finance, compliance, and delivery teams on contract-related matters.
• Process Optimization - Drive improvements in contract workflows, approval processes, templates, and playbooks to reduce cycle time and enhance standardization.
• Stakeholder Training:
Conduct training sessions for business, sales, procurement, and delivery teams on contracting best practices, legal risks, and policy updates.
• Technology:
Lead implementation or optimization of CLM tools, e-signature systems, and digital repositories to improve efficiency and governance.
• Strategic Legal support:
Support leadership on strategic initiatives such as new business models, partnerships, policy formulation, and corporate governance matters.
Key Requirements:
• 6–8 years of experience in corporate legal functions.
• Strong exposure to contract drafting, review, negotiation, and compliance management.
• Experience handling RFPs, RFIs, MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, and related commercial/legal documentation.
• Good understanding of contract law and corporate legal processes.
• Strong analytical, communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior experience in IT industry
Preferred
Qualification:
• B.L. with LL.B Preferred.
