Job Summary
We are seeking a visionary and execution-driven technology leader to drive the technology
strategy, architecture, scalability, and modernization of Intellect’s Digital Transaction Banking
platform.
The role requires deep expertise in enterprise banking platforms, transaction banking
architecture, cloud-native engineering, and large-scale transformation programs. The CTO will
work closely with customers, product leadership, engineering, delivery, and business
stakeholders to build highly scalable, resilient, AI-enabled, and future-ready banking platforms.

This leader will play a critical role in shaping next-generation capabilities across Payments,
Cash Management, Liquidity Management, API banking, Trade Finance, and Corporate Banking
transformation initiatives globally.
The ideal candidate combines strong banking domain expertise with modern engineering
leadership and the ability to engage confidently with CXOs, enterprise architects, regulators, and
strategic customers.

Duties and Responsibilities

● Define and drive the technology vision, enterprise architecture, and modernization
roadmap for the Digital Transaction Banking platform.

● Lead architecture and engineering strategy across cloud-native, microservices-based
banking platforms.

● Drive platform scalability, resiliency, security, observability, and high-availability
initiatives.

● Partner with CIOs, CTOs, enterprise architects, and senior customer stakeholders on
large-scale digital transformation programs.

● Lead architecture governance, solution reviews, and strategic technology decision
- making.

● Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Delivery, and Sales teams to support
platform evolution and customer success.

● Guide enterprise cloud adoption, Dev Sec Ops  practices, API strategy, integration
frameworks, and deployment models.

● Provide hands-on technical guidance to development and engineering teams, particularly
around J2EE and modern cloud-native technologies.

● Mentor senior architects and engineering leaders across the organization.

● Drive adoption of AI-led development and transformation initiatives, including AIDLC
practices.

● Stay updated on emerging trends in banking technology, enterprise platforms, cloud, and
AI-driven engineering.

Required Skills / Abilities

● 25+ years of experience in enterprise technology leadership, architecture, and
engineering delivery.

● Strong domain expertise in Digital Transaction Banking, Payments, Cash Management,
Trade Finance, or Corporate Banking platforms.

● Proven track record in designing and scaling enterprise-grade banking solutions within
regulated environments.

● Deep expertise in cloud-native architectures, microservices, APIs, containerization,
Dev Sec Ops , and enterprise integration.

● Strong hands-on experience with J2EE and modern engineering frameworks.

● Solid understanding of enterprise infrastructure, platform security, observability,
resiliency, and high-availability systems.

● Demonstrated experience driving AI-enabled engineering transformation and AIDLC
adoption.

● Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and customer-facing leadership
capabilities.

● Experience working with global banking customers, product organizations, or BFSI
technology firms preferred.

● Ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive strategic technology initiatives end
- to-end.

Qualifications

● Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information
Technology, or related discipline from a premier institute

● MBA or advanced technology/business certifications preferred.
