Key Responsibilities:
Provide functional support and maintenance for SAP Ariba Upstream modules (Sourcing, Contracting, SLP).
Troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day issues in Ariba Upstream workflows (RFX, Contracts, Supplier Registration & Qualification).
Collaborate with business stakeholders, procurement teams, and SAP support teams to resolve incidents and service requests.
Support integration and data flow between Ariba Upstream and SAP S/4
HANA system.
Assist users with Ariba functionality, process flows, and issue resolution through incident management.
Monitor Ariba platform performance and coordinate with SAP Ariba Support (OSS) to resolve complex issues.
Participate in system upgrades, testing, and deployment of enhancements or patches in the Ariba environment.
Document support procedures, functional specifications, troubleshooting steps, and user guides.
Identify and recommend process improvements or system optimizations within Ariba Upstream modules.
Required Qualifications &
Experience:
Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Ariba Upstream modules (Sourcing, Contracting, SLP).
Must have participated in at least 1 full end-to-end Ariba implementation.
Strong understanding of Sourcing, Contract Management, and Supplier Lifecycle & Performance business processes.
Experience supporting and maintaining Ariba integrated with SAP S/4
HANA.
Familiarity with Ariba upstream configuration and system administration tasks
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills related to supplier management, sourcing events, and contracting workflows.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with both business and technical teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Ariba integration via CIG (Cloud Integration Gateway) or other middleware.
SAP Ariba certification (preferred but not mandatory).
Exposure to SAP S/4
HANA environments.
Familiarity with Supplier Risk, Ariba Analytics, or related Ariba modules is an advantage.
