Acknowledge, analyze, and categorize alerts/alarms related to link failures, high latency, packet loss, BGP flaps, or hardware faults.
Isolate issues accurately between physical layer faults (fiber cuts, RF interference) and logical layers (routing/switching misconfigurations).
2. Incident & SLA Management  Log, update, and manage the full lifecycle of incidents within the ITSM ticketing system (e.g., Jira Service Desk, Service Now, Remedy) with explicit documentation.
Provide initial L1/L2 troubleshooting and escalate complex technical bottlenecks to L3 engineering, backbone, or infrastructure teams strictly adhering to defined Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Regularly communicate clear, time-bound updates to internal stakeholders and enterprise clients regarding resolution progress.
3. Telecom & ISP Operations Coordination  Coordinate closely with on-ground field technicians, fiber splicers, and RF engineers to direct targeted physical site restorations.
Interface professionally with inter-carrier partners, National Long Distance (NLD) / International Long Distance (ILD) carriers, and third-party vendors to resolve upstream transit or link issues.
