Role Overview
We are seeking a Zuora Consultant to serve as the primary specialist supporting the client's subscription billing platform and acting as Ryewalk's key point of contact for all Zuora-related activities. The role includes production support, issue resolution, billing operations support, minor enhancements, and coordination across Zuora and Salesforce systems.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, customer-focused, and capable of taking ownership, solving problems independently, and collaborating effectively with stakeholders in a customer-facing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary support consultant for Zuora Billing.
Support and troubleshoot billing operations, including subscriptions, invoicing, payments, amendments, renewals, and production issues.
Perform root-cause analysis and implement permanent fixes.
Configure and maintain Zuora product catalog, billing rules, subscriptions, amendments, renewals, cancellations, payment workflows, and Zuora Workflows.
Support reporting, operational data analysis, and issue tracking.
Monitor and troubleshoot Salesforce–Zuora integrations, data synchronization, and order flows from Salesforce and web channels.
Coordinate with Zuora Support and provide regular updates to customers on incidents, enhancements, and support activities.
Mandatory Skills
Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience in Zuora Billing.
Strong understanding of subscription billing, invoicing, payments, amendments, renewals, and Quote-to-Cash processes.
Experience configuring Zuora products, rate plans, charges, billing rules, and reporting (Data Query/ZOQL).
Experience supporting production environments with strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Strong experience in supporting subscription billing systems in a customer-facing environment.
Preferred Skills
Experience with Zuora CPQ and Zuora Workflows.
Experience working with Salesforce CRM, CPQ, or Revenue Cloud.
Knowledge of REST APIs and system integrations.
Exposure to SaaS or subscription-based business models.
Zuora certifications are a plus.
