Infrastructure & Network Lead

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure & Network Lead to manage and oversee IT infrastructure operations, including LAN/WAN networks, servers, cloud environments, security solutions, and OEM deployments.
This role requires strong leadership, hands-on technical expertise, SLA ownership, and the ability to mentor and grow a technical team while ensuring high availability and service reliability.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
Lead the infrastructure and network division to ensure smooth service delivery.
Drive technical strategy, change management, and operational excellence.
Manage budgets, vendor relationships, SLAs, and team performance.
Infrastructure Design & Deployment
Design scalable and resilient infrastructure architectures (LAN/WAN, hybrid cloud, storage, security).
Support pre-sales activities including solution design, requirement gathering, and technical proposals.
Prepare BoMs, PoCs, and implementation plans.
Lead deployment, integration, testing, cutover, and handover to operations.
Technical Support & Escalations
Act as the escalation point for complex infrastructure and networking issues.
Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes.
Ensure critical issues are resolved within SLA timelines.
SLA & Performance Management
Own SLA compliance and proactive monitoring of infrastructure performance.
Identify recurring issues and implement long-term solutions.
Vendor & OEM Coordination
Coordinate with OEMs and external vendors for deployments and escalations.
Participate in technical design reviews and risk assessments.
Mentoring & Team Development
Train and mentor junior engineers.
Conduct technical training sessions across infrastructure, cloud, and security.
Support recruitment and technical evaluation of candidates.
24x7 Support
Provide support as required for critical incidents and major outage handling.
Required
Skills & Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Experience
Minimum 4+ years experience in infrastructure/network support roles.
Proven team leadership and mentoring experience.
Certifications (Preferred)
CCNA / CCNP
VMware
Fortinet / Sophos / Checkpoint / Palo Alto
MCSE or equivalent
Technical Expertise
Windows Servers
Active Directory Implementation & Migration
VMware vCenter / ESXi
Microsoft Hyper-V
Firewall/security device configuration (Fortinet, Sophos, Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Cisco)
Backup & replication tools (Veeam, Acronis, etc.)
Soft Skills
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
Excellent communication & stakeholder management
