We are looking for a skilled Net App Storage Administrator (L2) to manage, maintain, and support enterprise storage environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Net App storage systems, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to handle L2-level incidents, service requests, and operational tasks.
Key Responsibilities
:
• Administer and support Net App storage systems (ONTAP-based systems including FAS/AFF)
• Perform storage provisioning (volumes, LUNs, aggregates, CIFS/NFS shares)
• Monitor storage performance, capacity, and availability
• Handle L2 incidents, service requests, and problem management
• Perform health checks, upgrades, and patching of storage systems
• Troubleshoot performance, connectivity, and hardware/software issues
• Work with L1 teams for issue escalation and provide resolution within SLA
• Configure and manage Snap Mirror, Snap Vault, and backup solutions
• Participate in DR drills and ensure replication readiness
• Maintain documentation for configurations, processes, and procedures
• Collaborate with server, network, and backup teams
• Ensure compliance with security and operational policies

Required Skill
s:
• Strong hands-on experience with Net App ONTAP (Clustered ONTAP preferred
).
• Knowledge of storage protocols: NFS, CIFS/SMB, iSCSI, F
C.
• Experience in storage provisioning and lifecycle managemen
t.
• Understanding of RAID, aggregates, volumes, and snapshot
s.
• Experience with Snap Mirror, Snap Vault, and replication technologie
s.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (Active IQ, OnCommand Unified Manager
).
• Basic knowledge of SAN and NAS environment
s.
• Experience in incident, problem, and change management processe
s.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skill
s.
Preferred Skil
ls:
• Experience with cloud integrations (AWS/Azure Net App solution
s).
• Knowledge of scripting (Shell, Python) for automati
on.
• Familiarity with VMware environments and storage integrati
on.
• Exposure to ITIL process
es.
• Net App certifications (e.g., NCDA, NCIE) are a pl
us.
