Role Summary
SAP SDM responsible for end‑to‑end delivery and governance of SAP services (AMS / Projects / Enhancements) across customer accounts. The role acts as the primary interface between client stakeholders and delivery teams, ensuring SLA adherence, service quality, operational stability, and continuous improvement.
Key Skills & Competencies
Functional & Technical
- Strong SAP expertise (S/4
HANA / ECC)
- Understanding of:
- SAP modules (SD/MM/FICO/PP etc.)
- SAP integrations (PI/PO, APIs, BTP)
- Knowledge of AMS and support models
Service Management
- ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Release)
- SLA/KPI governance and reporting
- Experience in Service Now or similar tools
Leadership & Soft Skills
- Stakeholder management & CXO engagement
- Strong communication & presentation skills
- Decision-making and problem solving
- Team leadership across global delivery models
Experience & Qualification
- 12–18+ years overall experience
- Minimum 5+ years in SAP SDM / Delivery Manager role
- Proven experience in:
- SAP AMS & project delivery
- Multi-client / multi-geography engagements
- Preferred:
- PMP / ITIL Certification
- SAP certifications
