We are looking for a Data Scientist (Level
2) to join our growing Data & Analytics team. In this role, you will leverage data, statistical modeling, and machine learning techniques to generate actionable insights and build predictive solutions that improve business performance across Sales, Distribution, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Logistics. You will work closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and analytics teams to develop scalable solutions that drive measurable business impact.
Responsibilities
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, opportunities, and business insights.
- Develop predictive models for demand forecasting, sales forecasting, inventory optimization, and operational efficiency.
- Build and deploy machine learning models to solve business challenges.
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
- Design and execute experiments to evaluate business initiatives.
- Create dashboards and visualizations to communicate findings and recommendations.
- Monitor model performance and continuously improve analytical solutions.
- Collaborate with Data Engineers and BI teams to ensure data availability and quality.
- Support AI and automation initiatives across the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- 2–4 years of experience in Data Science, Advanced Analytics, Machine Learning, or a related field.
Required Skills
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Experience with machine learning libraries such as Scikit-learn, XGBoost, Tensor Flow, or PyTorch.
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization tools.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and experimentation techniques.
- Experience working with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) is an advantage.
- FMCG, Manufacturing, Retail, Distribution, or Supply Chain experience is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
- Ability to communicate complex analytical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Skills
- Time-series forecasting and demand planning models.
- Optimization techniques and operations research.
- NLP, Large Language Models (LLMs), and Generative AI applications.
- Data storytelling and executive-level presentation skills.
- MLOps and model deployment fundamentals.
- Experience with sales, logistics, or supply chain analytics.
- Experience working in fast-paced, data-driven business environments.
