Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager with strong expertise in either .NET or Java technologies to lead and manage enterprise software development projects within the Banking and Financial Services domain.
The ideal candidate will combine strong technical proficiency with project management capabilities to drive end-to-end delivery, ensuring high-quality, secure, and scalable solutions. This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, clients, and cross-functional teams to successfully execute projects aligned with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end delivery of enterprise application development projects involving Angular frontend and .NET or Java-based backend technologies.
Ensure adherence to established project management processes, development standards, and compliance requirements.
Take ownership of project timelines, scope, quality, and successful delivery outcomes.
Identify, assess, and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, clients, architects, developers, and QA teams to ensure successful project execution.
Plan, track, and monitor project schedules, deliverables, resources, budgets, and overall project health.
Lead Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Ensure adherence to banking, security, governance, and compliance standards.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams working on .NET or Java technology stacks.
Prepare and present project status reports, metrics, dashboards, and executive summaries to senior leadership and stakeholders.
Manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Required Skills & Experience
10+ years of overall IT experience with 3–5 years in Technical Project Management roles.
Strong technical expertise in either:
.NET Technologies: .NET, .NET Core, ASP.NET, C#, Web APIs, Microservices, or
Java Technologies:
Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Microservices, and enterprise Java frameworks.
Experience managing enterprise web application development projects.
Solid understanding of application architecture, system integration, and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Experience with SQL Server, Oracle, or other relational database technologies.
Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
Proven experience managing large-scale enterprise or banking applications.
Ability to bridge technical and business teams effectively.
Preferred Skills
Experience in Banking or Financial Services domain.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Knowledge of Dev Ops practices, CI/CD pipelines, and release management processes.
Experience with API integrations, Microservices architecture, and secure application development.
Exposure to enterprise architecture and modernization initiatives.
Relevant Experience Preferred
Experience in IT/ITES organizations delivering enterprise-grade applications.
Exposure to banking or financial services projects involving regulatory and compliance requirements.
Experience handling large-scale, multi-team, and geographically distributed project environments.
Experience managing projects utilizing either .NET or Java technology ecosystems.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, PMI-ACP, or equivalent Project Management certification preferred.
