Job Description:
Design, implement, and maintain MySQL database environments in production and non-production systems.
Monitor database performance and optimize queries, indexing, and configurations for maximum efficiency.
Perform database installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, and migration activities.
Manage backup, recovery, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes.
Configure and maintain MySQL Replication, Clustering, and High Availability solutions.
Troubleshoot database issues related to performance, locking, connectivity, and storage.
Implement database security, user management, access controls, and compliance standards.
Work closely with application teams to support database design and SQL query optimization.
Automate routine DBA tasks using Shell Scripting or related automation tools.
Monitor database health, capacity planning, and ensure high availability of business-critical applications.
Support incident management, root cause analysis, and performance tuning initiatives.
Maintain database documentation, operational procedures, and best practices.
