Role Overview : The eLearning Hindi Translator will be responsible for translating eLearning content into Hindi and overseeing the end-to-end localization process. This role combines linguistic expertise with project management, ensuring that all translated content is accurate, culturally appropriate, and delivered on schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
Translate eLearning content, including courses, scripts, and supporting materials, from English (or other source languages) into Hindi with accuracy and cultural sensitivity.
Manage and lead the localization team, including freelance translators, and proofreaders, ensuring high-quality output.
Plan, coordinate, and oversee multiple localization projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
Collaborate with developers, and subject matter experts to ensure translations are contextually appropriate for eLearning formats.
Maintain a consistent voice, terminology, and style guide across all localized content.
Conduct quality assurance reviews, proofreading, and linguistic testing of eLearning content.
Provide guidance and training to the localization team to enhance efficiency and maintain high-quality standards.
Qualifications & Skills:
Native or near-native proficiency in Hindi
Proven experience in eLearning translation
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and teams effectively.
Experience with AI localization tools
Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and linguistic quality.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Understanding of cultural nuances and educational terminology relevant to Hindi-speaking audiences.
