Tamil Audio Transcriber

We are seeking a skilled Tamil transcriber to convert conversational speech into accurate, well-formatted written transcripts. Recordings may include natural conversations, rapid speech, regional dialects, slang, overlapping speakers, and English-Tamil code-switching.

What You'll Do
Transcribe Tamil audio recordings into accurate written text
Faithfully capture slang, dialectal expressions, and English-Tamil code-switching
Identify and flag unclear audio segments
Follow transcription guidelines and formatting standards
What You Bring
Native-level proficiency in Tamil, spoken and written
Strong understanding of regional dialects and everyday speech
Excellent listening skills, including the ability to understand speech in noisy or challenging audio
Exceptional attention to detail
Big Plus
Prior experience in transcription, subtitling, translation, or localization

Experience with linguistic annotation, speech data labeling, or AI/ML data projects
