About Amadora

Amadora is a premium artisanal ice cream brand, crafting small-batch ice cream from real ingredients — no premixes, no shortcuts — out of our central production kitchen in Chennai. We run 20 stores across Chennai, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad and are in an active growth phase. As we scale, the integrity of our product depends entirely on the strength of the chain that moves it from kitchen to cone.

The Role

We're looking for a Head of Supply Chain to own the end-to-end flow of materials and finished product across our three-city network. This is a senior, hands-on leadership role for someone who understands that in a frozen-dessert business, the cold chain is the product. You'll be the person accountable for the right ingredients arriving at the right cost, and the right product reaching every store — and every quick-commerce dark store — in perfect condition.

What you'll own

- Cold chain & distribution:
End-to-end temperature integrity from the central kitchen to all 20 stores across three cities, plus quick-commerce fulfilment. Zero compromise on product quality in transit.
- Procurement & vendor management:
Sourcing and managing relationships across dairy, specialty imports (stabilisers, purées, gelato pastes, flavourings), and packaging. Negotiating commercial terms and securing supply continuity.
- Demand & inventory planning:
Forecasting, replenishment, and the store indent system — keeping stores stocked without overproduction or wastage.
- Logistics & 3PL:
Building and managing the network that connects Chennai production to Bengaluru and Hyderabad reliably and cost-effectively.
- Cost control:
Driving down landed and distribution costs while protecting margins; owning supply chain's contribution to COGS.
- Systems & process:
Putting in place the SOPs, controls, and reporting that let supply chain scale cleanly as we add stores and cities.

What we're looking for

- Proven supply chain leadership experience is essential — ideally in FMCG, food & beverage, dairy, QSR, or any temperature-sensitive/perishable goods business. This is not an entry-level or generalist role.
- Direct, demonstrable experience running cold chain or perishable logistics.
- Strong procurement and vendor negotiation track record.
- Comfort operating across a multi-city, multi-location footprint.
- Sharp commercial and analytical instincts — you make decisions backed by numbers.
- A builder's mindset: you're energised by setting up systems in a growing business, not just maintaining a steady state.

Success in your first 12 months looks like

- Cold chain reliability measured and consistently met across all three cities, with product-quality complaints driven to near zero.
- A demand planning and replenishment system that cuts both stockouts and wastage.
- Measurable reduction in landed and distribution cost per unit.
