Risk Management

Key Responsibilities:

Risk Identification & Assessment:
Systematically identify and analyze potential internal and external threats (e.g., financial, operational, cyber, regulatory, and reputational risks) that could impact the organization's objectives.
Strategy Development & Implementation:
Design, implement, and monitor overall risk management processes, policies, and procedures, including risk mitigation and contingency plans.
Monitoring & Reporting:
Continuously monitor the effectiveness of existing risk controls, track key risk indicators (KRIs), and prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management and the board of directors.
Compliance & Auditing:
Ensure all operations comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws, industry standards (e.g., ISO 31000), and internal policies. Coordinate with internal and external auditors as needed.
Collaboration & Training:
Partner with department heads (e.g., Finance, IT, Legal, HR) to embed risk awareness into daily operations and provide training and support to staff on risk management processes.
Crisis Management:
Assist in drafting and refining business continuity plans to ensure organizational resilience in the event of a crisis or disruption.

Qualifications and Skills
Education
Minimum:
Any bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field
Desired (Plus):
Professional certifications like Certified Risk Manager (CRM), Financial Risk Manager (FRM) etc.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex information to diverse audiences.
Superior organizational, project management, and attention to detail skills.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and make sound decisions under pressure.

Experience:

Proven experience in a risk management role preferably in BFSI , with a strong understanding of risk assessment and control principles.
