Production planning Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Production Planning:
Develop and maintain detailed production schedules to optimize manufacturing efficiency.
Analyze demand forecasts and adjust production plans accordingly.
Coordinate with procurement to ensure raw material availability.
Balance workload across production lines to prevent bottlenecks.
Capacity and Resource Management:
Assess and plan for resource requirements, including labor, equipment, and materials.
Monitor capacity utilization and identify opportunities for process improvements.
Implement strategies to optimize production lead times and reduce idle time.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
Use production data to track performance, identify issues, and propose corrective actions.
Generate and present reports on production efficiency, costs, and inventory levels.
Continuous Improvement:
Support lean manufacturing and process optimization initiatives.
Implement best practices to improve productivity and reduce waste.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work closely with quality, maintenance, and logistics teams to resolve production challenges.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to align production plans with business goals.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.
1+ years of experience in production planning or manufacturing engineering.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in production planning software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, MS Excel).
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
