About the Role

We are seeking an outstanding, operations-driven  Factory Manager  to head our flagship export processing facility in Siruniyam, Chennai.
This is a prestigious, high-impact leadership position within our organization. The Siruniyam unit serves as our final processing, compliance, and international dispatch hub. In this role, you will hold end-to-end accountability for receiving semi-finished materials from our primary Karnataka manufacturing plant, steering the unit through stringent international quality and social audits, and executing flawless packaging and dispatch operations to service our premium clients across 32 countries globally.

8 years to 15 years in production floor or packing floor management.

Work Schedule:

Monday to Saturday 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM(On-site)
Reporting Hierarchy:  Direct reporting line to the CEO / Director Office.

Key Responsibilities & Deliverables
1. Operational Leadership & Floor Management
Command daily operations across the production, and packing floors to ensure absolute efficiency, high throughput, and zero-defect output.
Plan and schedule packing lines based on global container dispatch timelines, optimizing labor allocation to avoid bottle-necks or idle hours.
Drive continuous improvement (Kaizen, 5S, Lean manufacturing) on the packing floor to maximize packing density and minimize rejection rates.
2. Inter-State Supply Chain & Warehouse Logistics
Coordinate closely with our Karnataka factory to manage the inbound logistics of raw/semi-finished materials.
Supervise the Warehouse Executive to maintain strict inventory controls, ensuring optimal stock levels of packaging consumables (boxes, shrink-wrap, labels) to avoid production stoppages.
Oversee Kattupalli/Chennai port container stuffing, volumetric configuration (CBM optimization), and final dispatch documentation.
3. International Quality & Compliance Audits
Champion the plant's audit-readiness at all times. Act as the primary lead for prestigious international audits and global retail customer audits.
Ensure 100% compliance with environmental, social, occupational health, and safety (OHS) standards on the factory floor.
Enforce rigorous quality control (QC) checks in the cleaning and packaging stages to meet strict food-contact safety norms (US FDA, EU regulations).
4. Human Resources & Administration Oversight
Guide and monitor the HR-Admin Executive to manage local workforce attendance, contract labor vendors, and factory statutory compliances.
Maintain excellent labor relations, resolving grievances promptly to sustain a highly motivated and disciplined floor culture.
Manage local administrative overheads, utility bills, and basic factory maintenance.
Candidate Profile & Requirements

Experience:

8 Years to 15 Years of hands-on experience in manufacturing plant operations, specifically leading a production or packing floor (FMCG, eco-tableware, food processing, or export packaging industries preferred).

Skills:

Excellent leadership, logical process-mapping, inter-departmental problem solving, and basic computer proficiency (ERP, Excel, CRM systems).

Education:

Graduate/Postgraduate degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related technical streams.
Language:  Command over Tamil and English (for international audit documentation) and Tamil (for local worker and admin relations) is essential. Kannada proficiency is a strong advantage due to Karnataka coordinate operations
