Mold Designer

End-to-End Mold Design:
Create 3D layouts, complete assembly designs for plastic injection molds (ranging from multi-cavity precision tools to large-size automotive molds).
Advanced Mechanism Development:
Design complex mold mechanisms, including intricate slider movements, lifters, multi-stage ejection systems, and hot runner system integration
DFM & Feasibility Reviews:
Conduct thorough Design for Manufacturing (DFM) analyses, identifying potential part defects
Global Standards Compliance:
Ensure all mold designs strictly adhere to client-specific tool build standards, It is preferable if you are familiar with North American mold design standards.
Software Proficiency:
Advanced proficiency in dedicated tool design software like Cimatron is highly preferred.
Required Technical
Skills & Qualifications
- Education:
Diploma, B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical/Production Engineering, or a specialized Post-Diploma/Post-Graduate certification in Tool & Die Design (from recognized institutes like CIPET, NTTF, or equivalent).
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of proven hands-on experience in plastic injection mold design within a mold manufacturing or dedicated tool design engineering environment.
