Role

Purpose:

Lead end-to-end plant operations for an Aluminium HPDC facility, with accountability for  P&L, production, quality, productivity, cost, delivery, maintenance, customer satisfaction and people development .
Key KRAs
Own overall  plant P&L and operational performance , driving profitability and sustainable growth.
Lead  HPDC production , capacity utilisation, OEE, cycle-time improvement and achievement of production targets.
Drive  casting quality , rejection/rework reduction, defect analysis, customer complaints and corrective actions.
Manage  aluminium melting, metal treatment, HPDC machines.
Ensure effective  die/tooling management , die maintenance, trials and process optimisation.
Lead  maintenance & engineering  to improve machine availability, reduce breakdowns and optimise MTBF/MTTR.
Drive reduction in  conversion cost, aluminium/melting loss, energy consumption, scrap and consumables .
Ensure  on-time delivery  through effective coordination of PPC, stores, procurement, production and dispatch.
Implement  Lean, TPM, Kaizen, 5S, SMED and continuous improvement  initiatives.
Lead compliance with  IATF/ISO, EHS and statutory requirements  and ensure customer-audit readiness.
Build and lead a strong team across  Production, Quality, Maintenance, PPC, Tool Room and Stores/SCM .
Partner with  NPD/Engineering and customers  for new product industrialisation, process validation and smooth SOP-to-mass-production transition.

Ideal Candidate
18–25+ years  of experience in  Aluminium Die Casting / Auto Components , with strong hands-on exposure to  HPDC , and prior experience managing a complete manufacturing plant/business unit.
