Job Description

Role Summary

Assistant Manager – Lifesciences, Centre for Lifesciences – Bio E-Hub  will support life science startups through hands-on R&D, laboratory operations, technology development, validation, cell culture, molecular biology, bioprocessing, and industry-academia collaborations, fostering innovation and technology translation.

Key Responsibilities

· Support life science startups in R&D activities, technology validation, and prototype development.

· Manage laboratory facilities, equipment, and research resources while ensuring quality and safety compliance.

· Conduct technical training programs and facilitate collaborative R&D initiatives with academia and industry partners.

Key Skills

· Basics understanding in molecular biology, cell culture, microbiology, bioprocessing, and related life science technologies.
Strong experience in experimental design, technology validation, and prototype development.
Proficiency in laboratory operations, equipment handling, and technical troubleshooting.
Ability to support technology development, scale-up, and translational research projects.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with startups, researchers, academia, and industry partners.

Qualifications & Experience
Master’s / PhD in Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Biomedical Sciences, Bioprocess Engineering, or related disciplines.
2–4 years of hands-on experience in life sciences research, biotechnology R&D, laboratory operations, or product development.
