Teaching Personnel are seeking a compassionate and reliable Intimate Care Assistant to support pupils in a primary school within the NP16 area. This is a vital role for helping children access learning safely, comfortably and with dignity. Experience is beneficial but not essential — full training and support will be provided.

• Provide intimate care to pupils who require support with personal hygiene and toileting
• Assist with changing, mobility needs and general personal care
• Work 1:1 or in small groups with pupils who require additional support
• Support children to access the curriculum and remain engaged in classroom activities
• Promote independence, confidence and wellbeing
• Work collaboratively with teachers and ALN staff
• Maintain a respectful, discreet and child-centred approach at all times

• Patient, caring and comfortable with providing intimate personal care
• Confident supporting pupils with additional learning or physical needs
• Strong communication skills and a calm, reassuring manner
• Experience in care, SEN, support work or childcare is helpful but not essential
• Willing to undertake additional training and CPD
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
