Hours:

42.5 hours per week, working 8.25 hours per day. The role follows a rotating shift pattern of Monday-Friday for two weeks, followed by Tuesday-Saturday on the third week. Our client is looking for a dedicated Depot Supervisor to oversee and manage all aspects of their satellite delivery function at their depot in Chepstow. You will play a key role in ensuring efficient delivery scheduling, allocation of loads, and maintaining high performance in line with customer service targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and schedule deliveries, allocate loads, and monitor delivery performance to ensure efficient and timely service. Oversee resource allocation to ensure deliveries are dispatched on time and cost-effectively, meeting budgetary targets. Monitor driver performance throughout the day and take proactive action to meet delivery targets. Address and resolve customer queries related to failed deliveries in a professional and timely manner. Maintain a high service level, aiming for above 99.5% attributable service level.

Ensure full compliance with hand-held terminal usage, start time, and 3-hour delivery adherence. Manage first-stage disciplinary situations as necessary.
