HGV Class 1 Driver - Nights

The Vacancy

Uniserve is looking for a dependable and experienced Class 1 Night Driver to join our growing transport team.

In this role, youll be responsible for the safe and timely delivery and collection of goods during night-time operations. This position plays an important part in keeping our logistics network running smoothly overnight.

Salary: £40,085 annual

Shift pattern:
Rolling rota of 4 on, 4 off

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a Class 1 (C+E) vehicle to complete night trunking, collections, and deliveries
• Carry out pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks in line with company and DVSA standards
• Ensure all loads are secured correctly and meet safety requirements
• Follow tachograph rules, Working Time Directive regulations, and road transport legislation
• Complete delivery and collection paperwork accurately
• Communicate clearly with the night transport office and planners
