Cost Accountant

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in food & beverage production, is seeking a Cost Accountant to join their team. As a Cost Accountant, you will be part of the Finance Department supporting the Cost Accounting team.

Job Title: Cost Accountant

What's the Job?

• Support all aspects of cost accounting for the manufacturing operations
• Manage month-end, quarterly, and year-end closing processes in accordance with US GAAP
• Analyze inventory costing methodologies and variances, providing detailed reports and insights
• Review manufacturing variances, prepare standard journal entries, and propose adjustments as needed
• Collaborate with plant managers and external teams to ensure accurate financial data and inventory management

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 3-5 years of cost and inventory accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with cost analytics and manufacturing accounting processes
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Exceptional organizational and planning skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems
