Senior Corporate Accountant

We are seeking a Senior Real Estate Accountant to join a growing corporate accounting team. This role sits at the intersection of corporate accounting and real estate operations, supporting accurate financial reporting, close processes, and analysis across a real estate portfolio. The ideal candidate brings strong GAAP fundamentals along with hands-on real estate industry experience, and is comfortable operating in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.

Corporate & General Accounting

• Participate in the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and flux analyses
• Support GAAP-compliant financial statements and internal reporting packages
• Support acquisitions, dispositions, and refinancings from an accounting perspective
• Review property operating statements and partner with property management teams

Financial Analysis & Controls

• Analyze variances between actuals, budget, and forecast
• Help maintain and improve internal controls and accounting processes
• Assist with system enhancements, reporting improvements, and process automation initiatives

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 2+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Real estate industry experience required (commercial, multifamily, retail, or mixed-use)
