Accounting Manager

Hybrid Position CPA Public preferred Construction, distribution, manufacturing company. Strong GL month end close Prepare financial statements, strong close, manage a team Revenue Recognition ASC 606 Support Audits, percentage of completion Performs various accounting functions with respect to general ledger accounting, financial statements and account analysis Strong technical Accounting GAAP, internal Controls, and accruals Prepares schedules, and financial statement highlights. Ensures account activity is recorded, corrections are made, adjustments are calculated and journal entries are prepared Assists with budget preparation and forecasting Reviews and prepares month/year end reports, accrual schedules and ad-hoc reports and analysis Reviews and verifies entries and to ensure accuracy of all account figures Assist with external and internal audits Oversee bank reconciliations and cash posting reports Big 4 CPA preferred with strong Auditing Background
