AATG invites applications for the full-time position of Logistics and Member Services Coordinator. This position is located at AATG’s headquarters at 112 Haddon Towne Ct #104, Cherry Hill, NJ, across the river from Philadelphia, PA. As the oldest and largest educational association dedicated to promoting German language education in the United States, AATG supports teachers and students at 4,000 institutions throughout the entire country.

The successful candidate will manage operations related to the National German Academic Honor societies, support the National German Exam, and manage awards and grant programs of the AATG. The core function of the position includes managing AATG’s e-commerce operations using online platforms like Shopify and  A secondary function will be supporting association operations related to member service, recruitment, and retention.

This position is based in Cherry Hill, NJ and requires in-office presence, especially during the academic year. Some hybrid work may be granted during the summer, depending on programmatic needs.

The salary range for the position is $40,000–$45,000 plus benefits. The successful candidate will report to the Director of Finance at AATG.

What You’ll Do

  • Be the first point of contact for national German academic honor societies.
  • Review orders in AATG online store daily, pack and ship orders in a timely manner.
  • Work with schools regarding purchase‑order paperwork.
  • Work within AATG’s e‑commerce site, Shopify.
  • Manage inventory of AATG products.
  • Handle postal mailings for AATG including awards, membership renewal letters, and donor acknowledgements.
  • Coordinate with AATG’s Director of Finance on questions relating to orders.
  • Assist with AATG’s member database, supporting other AATG team members with updates, renewals, queries, and reports in a NoviAMS system.
  • Help maintain up‑to‑date member records.
  • Schedule and publish AATG events on our website.
  • Provide support via email and phone to members and educational institutions throughout the United States.
  • Contribute to the creation of promotional materials, newsletter, website, and social media content.
  • Provide periodic support to AATG programs as needed.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability and interest in working with and for diverse populations across the entire country.
  • Commitment to supporting educational institutions as part of AATG’s nonprofit mission.
  • Ability to function as part of a team.
  • Proven data input accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of computer systems such as MS Office applications in an Office 365 environment.
  • Professional and positive demeanor.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks as needed.
  • Understanding of professional educational associations.

Must‑Haves

  • Associate’s / bachelor’s degree.
  • Experience and comfort working with databases.
  • Appreciation for foreign language education, teachers, students, and programs.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States and completion of required employment eligibility verification upon hire.
