Pediatric Dental Associates is seeking a passionate Orthodontic Assistant to join our close-knit team in providing top‑notch dental care to our patients. As an Orthodontic Assistant you will play a crucial role in ensuring our patients feel comfortable and receive the best quality orthodontic care possible. We are looking for a candidate who is energetic, positive, and upbeat, has a willingness to learn, and communicates well with others.

Experience is a big plus, but we are also willing to train the right person if you have no experience.

Every Friday and alternating Mondays and Thursdays (7:45 AM – 5:00 PM)

• Week 1:
  Monday & Friday
• Week 2:
  Thursday & Friday
• Repeats biweekly

• Maintain a positive and friendly attitude and deliver excellent customer service to patients
• Coordinate patient care and treatment according to the doctor and other team members
• Assist the orthodontist during procedures, including taking X‑rays, preparing materials, and providing chairside support
• Ensure a clean and sterile environment by following proper infection control protocols and aseptic techniques
• Properly sterilize instruments on a regular basis
• Assist doctor with cementation of bands and bracket placement
• Properly take the correct X‑rays when needed on each patient

• Previous orthodontics experience is preferred but not required
• Warm, friendly, courteous, and enjoys working with children
• Punctual, responsible, and a fast learner
• Ability to multitask is critical
• Be receptive to training and coaching on best practices
