Job Title: ABA Therapist / Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) – School Consultation Team
Location: Cherry Hill, NJ with placements in school districts across South Jersey
Schedule: Full-Time (day hours), plus 2 after school (evening) cases per week
Pay Rates: RBT - $23/hour | ABA Therapist (non-certified) - $20/hour

Interactive Kids is hiring ABA Therapists and RBTs to join our School Consultation Team. You’ll work 1:1 with students in public school classrooms, helping them access their education through behavioral support, skill-building, and consistent collaboration with teachers, school staff, and your supervising BCBA.

This team thrives on variety, connection, and purpose. Whether you're placed in a single school or float between districts as a substitute, every day brings something new — and someone who needs your support.

• Provide 1:1 support using ABA strategies tailored to each student’s goals
• Implement individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) across school routines
• Help students with communication, classroom transitions, and self-regulation
• Collect daily behavior and skill acquisition data using Rethink
• Collaborate with BCBAs, teachers, CST teams, and paraprofessionals
• Travel to assigned school placements (districts across South Jersey)
• Provide two after-school in-home or community-based sessions per week

While this position is listed under “Cherry Hill – School Team,” that’s simply our home base — where you'll come for team meetings, trainings, or when you need a workspace. The real work happens in public school districts across South Jersey, where we partner directly with schools to support students who need us most.

Some team members are placed in a consistent school location, while others float between districts depending on the need. Most placements are within a 35 to 40-minute radius of Cherry Hill. At Interactive Kids, we don’t leave our staff hanging when the school year ends. While other school-based roles often slowdown in the summer, our School Team transitions seamlessly into our Social Skills & Summer Camp Program, so you can keep doing what you love — and keep working.

During the summer months, you’ll support students in a fun, structured camp environment focused on communication, social skills, and community experiences. You’ll also have the opportunity to take on additional in-home, clinic, or community-based sessions to round out your schedule. It’s a great way to maintain full-time hours while gaining even more hands-on experience in diverse settings.

• RBT certified or willing to become certified
• Previous ABA experience (required), ideally with school-aged children
• Know how to stay calm, positive, and focused in busy classroom settings
• Organized, consistent, and confident following behavior plans
• Communicate well with adults and students
• Have reliable transportation for travel across districts and to after-school sessions
• Open to learning, growing, and being part of a collaborative team
