Senior Electrical Engineer

Miller‑Remick, a full‑service MEP engineering firm, is looking for an energetic, self‑motivated, and innovative individual for a Senior Electrical Engineer position. In addition to the basic qualifications listed, the successful candidate shall possess the skills required to successfully develop and execute project tasks and deliverables, be a collaborative team player, handle multiple complex tasks, establish and manage priorities, and have a strong drive to deliver a quality project for customers.

Our clients include federal agencies (Department of Veteran Affairs, Department of Defense, GSA, Federal Bureau of Prisons, state, and local governments). Projects vary in complexity and range of estimated construction costs, including hospitals and healthcare, military bases, federal buildings and courthouses, state and local government buildings, research laboratories, central steam and chilled water plants, corrections facilities, and site utility infrastructure projects.

• Plan and coordinate multi‑discipline project teams.
• Perform electrical engineering investigations/assessments of facilities.
• Design building electrical systems.
• Prepare specifications.
• Estimate project and construction costs.
• Schedule engineering projects.

• Bachelor (BS) or Master (MS) in Engineering.
• P.E. license with 8 years’ experience in electrical engineering.
• Knowledge of all applicable Codes.
• Experience with power, lighting, security, telecom systems, emergency generator design.
• Building Information Modeling using REVIT.
• Medium voltage experience is a plus.
• Leadership qualities are a must.
• Travel as required to client sites.
