Ranked the overall #4 Best Civil Engineering Firm to Work for in the Nation (#1 in our size category) and listed on the Engineering News Record (ENR)’s Top 500 Design Firms in the nation, TPD is hiring Construction Inspectors who are ready to grow their knowledge on highway, roadway and bridge projects throughout New Jersey in partnership with agencies such as NJDOT, NJTA, SJTA, DRPA, DRJTBC, and local county and state agencies.
Responsibilities- Observe construction activities to ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
- Prepare daily reports, quantity measurements, and computations; assist with progress reports and pay estimates.
- Communicate with senior management to help meet project goals.
- B.S. in Civil Engineering or a minimum of two years of construction inspection experience through internships or employment.
- NICET all levels a plus but not required.
- ACI, NJSAT, TCC, CCTC, and/or OSHA 10 a plus but not required.
- Able to work overtime, some nights, or weekends as needed.
- Ability to drive to and from, on, or around a project site at any time of day.
- Strong organization and communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license.
$29/hour to $35/hour
