Location:
Greater Philadelphia area (some remote capacity). Some remote capacity with occasional site/office visits.
Salary: to $100K plus bonus (DOE).

Support senior engineers in designing electrical systems for various clients. Coordinate with the design team and Project Manager to execute project objectives efficiently. This is a hybrid role with a minimum of 3 days per week in the office.
Responsibilities:- Perform engineering calculations, prepare single line diagrams, size electrical components and equipment, conduct short circuit analysis, and prepare technical specifications.
- Review projects regularly to ensure departmental standards and client requirements are met within the project budget.
- Perform design, layout, and checking of electrical systems drawings, ensuring technical correctness according to applicable standards and codes.
- Conduct site surveys, energy audits, attend project meetings, and provide field construction support.
- Coordinate with facility owners and architects, ensuring high levels of responsiveness and communication.
- Conduct shop drawing reviews and construction administration.
- Knowledge of local, state, and national code requirements (IEEE, NFPA, Joint Meeting, FGI Guidelines for Hospitals and Outpatient Facilities, and similar industry standards).
- Experience with lighting and electrical load analysis software.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD;
Revit experience is a plus. - Familiarity with USGBC LEED Rating system and standards is a plus.
- Effective time management skills, comfortable with frequent deadlines and transitions.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for preparing presentations and reports.
- Proficiency in English.
- BS in Electrical Engineering.
- 1-5 years of professional experience in detailed design of electrical systems for critical care and/or laboratory facilities.
- Experience with Autodesk AutoCAD or Revit and Building Information Modeling (BIM).
- Professional Engineer (PE) licensure is preferred but not required.
