Location: Cherry Hill Township

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for patient safety, including pre‑screening for contraindications and aseptic injection technique.
  • Produces high‑quality diagnostic images and operates multiple MR systems as required.
  • Demonstrates effective communication with radiologists, team members, patients, and customers, addressing concerns and resolving conflicts.
  • Trains and orients new technologists, patient coordinators, and MR technologist assistants on‑site and/or remotely.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
  • ARRT (R) or ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT, or contract in lieu of ARRT.
  • State license, if applicable.
  • CPR certification.
  • Valid state driver’s license.
  • Technologists registered in other modalities: ≥3 months supervised MRI clinical scanning experience or ≥6 months enrolled in an accredited MRI training program.
  • MR registered technologist RT(MR) or ARMRIT: no experience required.
  • Ability to work at several locations.
  • Strong customer service, organizational, and multi‑tasking skills.
  • Basic knowledge of computer applications and programs.
  • COVID‑19 vaccination is or may be a condition of employment.
  • Local travel may be required.
Preferred
  • Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Registry in Magnetic Resonance by the ARRT.
  • 1 year of Magnetic Resonance Imaging experience.
Physical Requirements

The employee may be exposed to outside weather conditions during transport of patients if working on a mobile unit, a strong magnetic field, blood/body fluids, and infectious disease while interacting with patients.

  • More than 50% of the time: sit, stand, walk; repetitive movement of hands, arms, and legs; sight, speaking, and hearing to communicate with patients.
  • Less than 50% of the time: stoop, kneel or crawl; climb and balance; carry and lift (ability to move non‑ambulatory patients from a sitting or lying position for transfer or to exam).
