Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm (Not a Remote Position)

- Maintain open communication and collaboration with the multidisciplinary treatment team to address aftercare and discharge planning needs.
- Develop individualized aftercare appointments by collaborating with patients.
- Ensure follow‑up appointments are made within 7 days of discharge from our facility with a behavioral health provider.
- If a patient is on MAT, ensure the patient has an appointment with a MAT provider after discharge.
- Coordinate directly with referents and payors to ensure continued care needs are met.
- Collect co‑pays, deductibles, and private pay fees within 24 hours of the client’s admission.
- Assist patients in staying focused on their treatment by addressing employer and legal needs.
- Conduct weekly discharge needs assessments and develop individualized aftercare plans.
- Validate patients' benefits and financial responsibility using online applications such as Insta Med, Navient, and Availity or other relevant applications.
- Follow the outlined procedures for the "Collection of Patient Responsibility."
- Demonstrate a thorough knowledge and understanding of collection policies and procedures, specifically related to co‑pays, insurance deductibles, setting up payment plans, and upfront private pay payments for patients.
- Assist client with COBRA election while obtaining confirmation of payment.
- Collaborate with the admission team to find solutions and collect owed funds.
- Ensure clients sign the "Coordination of Benefits", "Authorized Claims Representative", "Payment Plan/Agreement", "Financial Checklist", other necessary consents, and complete the first CMDP within 72 hours of admission.
- Facilitate the completion of an "Advance Repayment Agreement" for any uncollectable co‑pays or deductibles.
- Provide timely financial assistance and address insurance inquiries in alignment with admission department directives for each admission.
- Starting pay $23/hr, based on experience.
- Benefits begin on the 1st day of the month following date of hire.
- Matching HSA – up to $1,500/yr contribution from the company to your HSA.
- 401(k), medical, dental, vision, and generous vacation time.

- Bachelor’s Degree in a health‑related field, finance/accounting, or medical management office experience preferred. Minimum high school diploma.
- Minimum one‑ to two‑years’ experience, preferably in the medical, behavioral healthcare, or financial field.
- Familiar with community resources and proficient in providing, discussing, and resolving financial issues and policies.
