We are seeking a talented and motivated Supervisor, Microbiology. In this role, you will supervise microbiologists performing pharmaceutical microbiological procedures, ensure accuracy of test results and raw data, and oversee compliance with regulatory standards.

• Control the workflow of the microbiology laboratory, including supervising, planning, and directing activities for production, stability program, technical services, and R&D.
• Enforce policies and procedures, ensuring testing techniques and documentation meet regulatory and internal compliance standards.
• Oversee instrument and equipment maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and validation studies.
• Prepare and revise SOPs, change controls, and regulatory documents to maintain compliance.
• Recommend staffing, support cross‑training, evaluate performance, and manage development plans.
• Investigate and resolve deviations and root causes, preparing timely reports.
• Interact with FDA and other regulatory/audit groups, applying GLP and GMP principles.

• BS with 7 years of pharmaceutical microbiology experience, or MS with 5 years of experience.
• 3–5 years of supervisory experience.
• Excellent organizational, project management, writing, computer, communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Working knowledge of FDA regulations, GLP, and GMP, and experience interacting with regulatory agencies.

• Experience in pharmaceutical microbiology for injectable or aseptic manufacturing.

Base salary $66,600 to $133,075 annually, determined during the interview process based on location, experience, and other factors.
