Site Reliability / Production Engineer
We're seeking a Production Engineer with strong experience supporting software systems in production environments. This position focuses on troubleshooting, monitoring, automation, deployment, and maintaining the reliability and release readiness of critical systems.
Responsibilities- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve production software issues
- Develop and maintain monitoring solutions
- Perform software maintenance and implement solutions to production issues
- Support the design, development, implementation, and analysis of technical systems
- Establish standards and procedures for measuring product quality and release readiness
- Recommend improvements to testing techniques and operational processes
- Automate application deployment and infrastructure processes
- Provision and manage applications in virtual and cloud environments
- Partner closely with QA and Software Engineers in an operational capacity
- Support continuous delivery of critical applications and systems
- Work with deployment, network operations, systems administration, scripting, and coding
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
- 3-6 years of experience in a related engineering, systems, infrastructure, or operations role
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with Jenkins and continuous integration
- Experience with Puppet, Chef, or Ansible
- Experience with Git Hub
, including branching and tagging - Experience with systems and IT operations
- Experience managing applications across virtual and cloud infrastructures
- AWS and Open Stack experience preferred
- Strong scripting and coding background
- Familiarity with open-source technologies and automation tools
