At Home To Stay, we believe everyone deserves the opportunity to work, contribute, and feel proud of what they do. As a Job Coach, you’ll help adults with developmental disabilities succeed in real jobs in their communities — building skills, confidence, and independence along the way.
This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys being out in the community, forming meaningful connections, and seeing the direct impact of their work.
What You’ll Do- Provide one-on-one job coaching at community work sites
- Teach and reinforce workplace skills like communication, time management, and problem-solving
- Help individuals understand job expectations and workplace routines
- Gradually fade support as individuals become more independent
- Track progress and communicate with the Employment Specialist

- Partner with employers, families, and care teams to ensure success
- Promote dignity, safety, and self-confidence at all times
- High school diploma or GED (some college in human services or related field is a plus)
- Experience in coaching, caregiving, education, or supported employment preferred (training provided)
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Patient, flexible, and encouraging teaching style
- Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and ability to travel between job sites
- Willingness to work some evenings or weekends
- Ability to pass background check and required training
- $18–$22 per hour
