Group Financial Controls Manager - FTSE 100 - French speaker

£80,000 per annum + £6,000 car allowance + 30% bonus

Chertsey, Surrey. 3 days a week in the office

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Group Financial Controls Manager to join a leading FTSE 100 business based in Chertsey. Reporting to the Head of Financial Controls, you will play a key role in strengthening and embedding a robust controls framework across a complex international group.

The business is continuing to mature its controls environment, building on a successful corporate reform journey and enhancing controls towards SOX-equivalent standards across key markets, with a focus on France.

• Support the development and enhancement of the Group financial controls framework.
• Drive improvements in controls culture across the organisation.
• Assist with the rollout and maintenance of Risk and Control Matrices (RACMs).
• Partner with stakeholders across Finance, Risk and Operations to strengthen governance and control effectiveness.
• Support the growth of second-line controls capabilities across international markets.

• Background in financial controls, internal audit, risk or governance.
• You must be a fluent French speaker.
• Experience with SOX, SOX-readiness programmes, or equivalent controls frameworks.
• Strong understanding of risk and controls environments within large or multinational organisations.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
